Nice to see I got a photo credit from the India Journal article covering the convention for TiE Southwest this year at Sheraton Hotel, Cerritos! I spent 11 hours on my feet covering the whole event but it’s always great to be able to shoot and also listen in on great business minds. See the article here:
For you aspiring entrepreneurs out there, this is a great information and networking event!
We were contacted about doing a fundraiser for a school organization last month. I have never tried this in a public setting before (it works well at private functions for non-profits) so I donated the photo booth and my faithful assistant Rachel donated her time to bring it down to the Huntington Beach Street Fair last night. After a rough start setting up without me, the wrestling team at Ocean View High School was able to raise several hundred dollars over 3 hours. I don’t know if that qualifies as a success since I have nothing to gauge it against but I am impressed they were able to get people to donate money. Good job Rachel and thanks to OVHS Wrestling for inviting us down!
Someone was kind enough to recommend us as a preferred vendor and so now I get to display this award. I don’t know how to put it on my website but it’s too fancy a ribbon to just not display it! If anyone else would like to recommend us, we’re not only listed on mypartyplanner.com but also yelp.com, weddingwire.com, and most of the search engine local business directories (google places, yahoo local, etc.). We always appreciate your reviews.
Our Chino Hills photo booth business is steadily growing and it seems the clientele and target market for photo booths is different than the portrait & event photography side of EFF so it’s time to make a change. Our photo booth business (Fun Foto Studioz) will be blogging on it’s own at funfotostudioz.wordpress.com and hopefully this blog will be dedicated to portraits, event photography, and fine art. If I happen to throw in a few creative videos and cinematography I’ve done, then that’s a bonus. Seems impossible to find even more time to do another blog! I am a little behind on posting all the newborn and family portrait sessions I’ve done lately but hopefully I’ll find a little free time to update all the blogs, facebook pages, and website galleries. I need a personal assistant! Stay tuned. In the meantime, see all the latest photo booth galleries and additions to the portfolio collections at http://www.edzelfuertezfotography.com
With Christmas came many holiday parties in December and New Year’s Day so we were busy trying to keep up! Three birthday parties and a company Christmas party featured our photobooth over the holidays producing all new print layouts and new props for a Retro 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s birthday party. Our fun props, costumes, wigs, & accessories made the difference for our clients as guests continued to take pictures with their own cameras using our props even as the photobooth was shutting down. Retro Party Photobooth
The Company Christmas Party Photobooth
Chona turned 50 this September and they celebrated in style with the Fun Foto Studio and a red carpet setup right at the front door to provide a little paparazzi for all the “stars” as they made their way into the party. EFF provided a backdrop support and a black muslin backdrop and the hosts add a little extra flair with a set of gold drapery. Very classy. Guests were amazed that they were taking home the photos right away and even came back for additional poses to get that family portrait that they never seem to get around to doing. After most of the guests arrived, we pulled out box of fun props around 8:45 pm just to see if anyone was in the mood for fun photography. As is turns out, our costume hats, boas, and accessories were flying out of the box in the last few minutes and we got some great photos and everyone was in a more festive mood. The party was still raging when we packed up. Definitely not your ordinary photobooth experience! Photos are posted at our website www.edzelfuertezfotography.com.
